The Mugberia Central Co-operative Bank Ltd since its inception, i.e the date of its registration, the 1st day of February, 1924 has been performing its effective role for socio-economic development with regards to poverty alleviation, employment generation & social integration by means of extending its membership to various types of Co-operative Societies as required from time to time, adopting different types of projects & schemes for its members, organizing various types of Meetings, Conferences & Training Programmes, adopting policies in respect of diversified financing within its area of operation. Undoubtedly, it is our continuous process through which we are habituated to walk with a view to reaching optimum level of satisfaction regarding development of the Bank in all respects as possible from our end. It is needless to mention here that the Primary Co-operative Societies are the main pillar of any Central Co-operative Bank according to the provisions of the West Bengal Co-op. Societies Act, 1983 & 2006 and Co-op. Societies Rules, 1987 & 2011 along with subsequent amendments thereat. Consequently, development of any Central Co-operative Bank absolutely depends upon the development of its affiliated Primary Co-operative Societies. As a result of fact, as and when any scheme/project/packages/policy is declared/announced by the State Govt./Central Govt. /NABARD/RBI even World Bank for the improvement of Co-operative Movement, it is our habit to response immediately as maximum as possible with a view to obtaining maximum benefit related thereon subject to fulfillment of all the terms & conditions. It is to be pointed out that Banking License had already been issued in favour of our Bank to carry on banking business in India by Reserve Bank of India vide its No. ACD.WB.38C dated 20.04.1982. But, thereafter, fresh Banking License bearing RPCD (KOL) No.13-C dated 16.07.2012 in lieu of our previous Banking License has been issued in our favour from the end of Reserve Bank of India where the area of operation of our Bank has been confined only to the District of Medinipur (East), West Bengal. Twelve Branches of our Bank are located at different important locations of the southern corner of the districts. All the Branches are CBS enabled and providing NEFT & RTGS facilities to the customers. Our ATMs enable us to provide day-night services to our customers. Our customers can enjoy the facility of using our RuPay ATM cards at all ATMs across the country. |
